I’m a: cell biologist

My research: My research focuses on understanding the role of the cytoskeleton during cell migration and morphogenesis. I use fly cells and the flies study how the dynamics of actin, microtubules, and molecular motor proteins contribute to these processes.

What do you typically eat for breakfast? Oatmeal or yogurt with fruit

What is your favorite snack or candy? popcorn

What is your favorite spice? rosemary

What is one food you absolutely dislike? Octopi - they are just too smart!

What is one of your favorite dishes? Gumbo. It is an old family dish that has been past down generations. Also, everyone who makes it adds their own flair to it, so it is both old and new at the same time.
