I’m a: engineering educator, engineer, mathematician

My research: Dr. Cox is the Founder and CEO of STEMinent LLC, which houses educational assessment, professional development, and media offerings. Her research focuses on the use of mixed methodologies to explore questions across the education continuum, particularly why engineering women faculty persist. Dr. Cox has led and collaborated on multidisciplinary projects totaling approximately $16 million and has authored over 130 publications.

What do you typically eat for breakfast? grits & eggs, cereal, or oatmeal

What is your favorite snack or candy? There's something about sweet potato pie that gets me every time.

What is your favorite spice? It's a tie between granulated garlic powder and smoky paprika.

What is one food you absolutely dislike? English peas

What is one of your favorite dishes? I enjoy cornbread dressing with celery, onions, bell peppers and great spices. It reminds me of home and of the U.S. South.
